Hierbas de Mallorca Mezcladas (Mixed Herbs of Mallorca). 36% vol, are defined as an anise-flavored spirit obtained by extracting aromas from various plants native to the island, such as: fennel, rosemary, lemon verbena, chamomile, lemon tree, orange tree, and balm.
The origins of these herb liqueurs can be traced back to monasteries, where friars produced a wide range of brandies and spirits with herbs and fruits.
The herbs are harvested in Mallorca in May at dawn and macerated for at least 60 days. Afterwards, distilled anise, made in our century-old stills, is added.
